O futebol está passando por um momento novo e de muito debate por conta das mudanças necessárias depois da pandemia do novo coronavírus. A prefeitura e a FFERJ estão trabalhando para que a torcida volte aos estádios no começo de outubro. Na tarde desta terça-feira (22), uma reunião foi promovida pela Federação Carioca para debater o assunto.
Durante participação na conversa, Rubens Lopes, presidente da FFERJ, usou os exemplos de shoppings e transportes públicos para defender o retorno dos torcedores nas partidas de futebol.
– Os shoppings estão abertos, o transporte público leva um milhão de pessoas todo dia. E ninguém diz que sou contra o transporte público. Mas o futebol dá visibilidade e toda hora aparece um monte de palpiteiro. A decisão é do governo, que certamente tem seus consultores para dar o parecer.

O presidente da Federação Carioca ainda destacou o protocolo “Jogo Seguro”, que foi criado para auxiliar o retorno do futebol no Estadual do Rio de Janeiro.
– A Federação de Futebol do Rio foi pioneira no estudo e no resultado do retorno do futebol no Brasil e no continente. Desenvolvemos um protocolo com várias fases, chamado “Jogo Seguro”. Inicialmente foi estabelecido para o retorno das atividades, depois para os jogos de futebol e complementamos essas duas fases sem efeitos colaterais que nos fizessem mudar o protocolo.
